Arrival:
C.M.J will arrive onsite as specified by the client. We cannot be held responsible for delays (or incomplete décor) if not allowed a reasonable amount of time to complete décor services as described in this agreement. Please allow at least two or three hours of setup time, unless discussed with the decorator.
Disposal:
Breakdown and haul-away services will be provided as part of this agreement. In addition, all Embellishments and Framework are the property of C.M.J EVENT PLANNER and these items will be collected during the breakdown of the event. Please advise C.M.J EVENT PLANNER of an acceptable time to pick up materials used for the event (Centerpieces, drapes, tablecloths, chair covers, balloon stand, backdrop stand, wall flower, etc.)

Terms of Payment:
Payments must be made by check, venom, Zelle or cash. Please plan to surrender funds as outlined below:
Final payment may be made by zelle or any integration at the time indicated above (one 2 week prior to event date) to assure fulfillment of this agreement. Once final payment has been made, there will be absolutely no refunds.
_for BALLOON : A 50% nonrefundable/nontransferable retainer is required to secure the decorating services as outlined in this agreement. These funds are scheduled to be collected within 48 hours of receipt of invoice. The invoice will expire after 48 hours of deposit obligation not being filled. Expiration of invoice forfeits event slot.
_The balance of the payment is due one 2 weeks prior to the date of service.
Compensation(Wedding):
As compensation for C.M.J EVENT PLANNER services, the Client agrees to pay a total of payment to C.M.J EVENT PLANNER. A non-refundable retainer of (50% deposit) will be made as an initial retainer and is due on the date that this contract goes into effect.
The remaining balance shall be due no later than two weeks prior to the date of event. If the balance is not received within this time period, an interest rate of 10% of the remaining balance shall be charged for every day the balance is past due.
Material Guarantee:
All materials are guaranteed to be as specified by the manufacturer. If a supplier discontinues a product or manufacturer changes material type, C.M.J EVENT PLANNER reserves the right to make any last-minute changes (at our discretion based on availability of materials at time of event). We reserve the right to substitute an item of like kind and quality. If any materials owned by C.M.J EVENT PLANNER are damaged while in possession of the client, you will be responsible for the full cost of said materials.
Accident:
We are not responsible for accidents or injuries related to our decor that are caused by mischief or mishandling by the client, guests or site staff. It is clearly understood that there will be no refunds or discounts for loss, breakage or failure to produce due to factors outside and beyond our control.
for balloons Please, do not allow guests to put the latex balloons into their mouths. Be aware that some Children and Adults have allergic reactions to latex. These Children/Adults should refrain from having contact with the latex balloons.
Inclement Weather:
C.M.J EVENT PLANNER’s Decor shall not be responsible should weather conditions make it impossible to perform décor service (as described in this agreement). This includes (but is not limited) to strong winds, rain or snowstorms. C.M.J EVENT PLANNER is not responsible for inclement weather or other situations that may cancel or postpone your event. Please note that we will make every effort to accommodate date changes to your event.
Outdoor Décor:
We use only the highest quality products and make every possible effort to ensure that your décor will meet or exceed your expectations. However, due to the general nature of some equipment, we cannot guarantee that your decor will remain perfect and intact when used outdoors. If inclement weather conditions make it difficult or impossible to produce as specified C.M.J EVENT PLANNER will do its best to be flexible with providing décor alternatives. It is clearly understood that there will be no refunds or discounts for loss, breakage or failure to produce due to factors outside and beyond our control.
Exclusivity:
Due to the professional level of our designs, we will not perform any c décor if any other companies are also decorating for your event. This includes the inflation of balloons by volunteers who are not necessarily licensed. If this occurs, C.M.J EVENT PLANNER reserves the right to leave the job site for breach of contract.
Cancellation/Termination of Services for wedding:
In the event of a cancellation, the Client should notify the Event Planner no later than thirty (30) days prior to the planned date. Should the event be cancelled after that deadline, the Event Planner will collect the full fee owed, including any applicable interest that may arise due to late payments.
Cancellation of Services by the Client will result in C.M.J EVENT PLANNER to be released from any liabilities to event due to acts of God, Nature, etc.
Cancellation of Services by the Client will result in the loss of any payments made towards any special or custom orders. If a vendor agreement states no refund on retainers, the Client will honor the vendor’s agreement.
Additional fees can incur as a result of cancellation with contracted vendors for products and/or services.
C.M.J EVENT PLANNER is not responsible for returning any payments made to vendors by the Client.
Cancellation of Services must be done so in writing to C.M.J EVENT PLANNER at (c.m.jeventplanner@gmail.com).
In the event of a cancellation, C.M.J EVENT PLANNER retains the right to apply fees as follows:
Acceptance of Proposal:
The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and are hereby accepted. C.M.J EVENT PLANNER. is authorized to perform the service as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.

In rendering consulting services under this contract, the Event Planner shall conform to high professional standards of work and business ethics. In addition, the Client and associated party to the event shall conform to high standards of etiquette and ethics throughout the time designated in this contract.
The Client/Event Planner and its affiliates agree to keep all information pertaining to said event, personal matters including fees and financial arrangements, strictly confidential.
Terms and Conditions of this contract become effective once this Contract has been signed and required retainers are received. Agreement terminates on the day following the conclusion of said event.
Tardiness to Appointments/Meetings:
It is expected that the Client attends all meetings at the confirmed time and location agreed upon with the Event Planner. In the event there are unforeseen challenges that will prevent a punctual meeting, it is the responsibility of the Client to contact their Event Planner within one hour prior or post the scheduled appointment time. In the event that C.M.J EVENT PLANNER waits beyond thirty (30) minutes of the agreed time, the Event Planner reserves the right to contact the Client via telephone and cancel the appointment. An email will be followed up with to reschedule the appointment at the earliest convenience of the Event Planner.
Vendors:
Based on preliminary decisions, C.M.J EVENT PLANNER will compile a list of preferred vendors and review with the Client. This list may include, but is not limited to, caterers, rental companies, musician’s, DJ’s, photographers, etc. Services desired by the Client will be selected from the vendor list. Deviations from this list will be announced to the Client prior to the approval of any final agreement with the vendor.
The Client is responsible for all payments made to chosen vendors and will be notified of all due dates at the time that an agreement is formed with these parties.
COVID-19:
In the event of needing to reschedule due to COVID19 related issues, retainer will be transferred to a new date. Proof must be provided.
